Dealing with rubbish is a daily struggle of maintenance to keep the city of Cardiff safe and clean for all to use. At times, these struggles can become insurmountable due to certain events leading to rubbish building up whilst some are left and forgotten, which leads to an unattractive ethic that leads to an overall unhealthy and dirt-filled appearance.
Utilizing mediums and methods popular in communciations today, how can an app solve these issues? and how could they be resolved to put communities together towards a healthy and clean atmosphere to today's busy capital.
Creating an interaction with local mapping with forums and communications platform, my team set out to creating the 'ContACT' app with the intent of providing assistance to people wanting to notify the rubbish disposal service more effectively of rubbish and cleaning, with efforts and gestures from the company itself to express a sense of spirit and strong community to keeping Cardiff safe and clean.
